He was predeceased by: his parents, John Suttman and Lillian Kerhle Suttman; his wife Charlotte (Lambert); his children, John and Lynn; and his siblings, Robert (Bob) and Ann Suttman (Sally).

He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Suttman, Cindy Newland (Mark), Carol Rickert (Dave) and Cathy Heinz (Mike); his daughter-in-law Sally Suttman; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Alec Suttman (Dana), Megan (Dan Divelbiss), Madie Suttman, Davis, Jimmy, Sam Rickert, Sarah Mills (Ryan), Kelsey Heinz, Shelby Cronan (Pat) and Lindsey Baker (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Olivia, Charlotte, Benjamin Mills, Ena Divelbiss, Erin, Emma Cronan, Levi, Ada Suttman and Leona Baker.
