He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie K. Powell and Hosea Powell; and his siblings, Mae Portis-Powell, Emma Johnson-Powell, Barbara Robinson, Ira Powell, Hosea Powell, Fred Powell, Sr., Jimmy Powell and George Powell.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly "Susie" Powell; his son Jordan Powell; his brothers, William, Robert Powell, Richard Phillips and Paul; his sister-in-law Dianne Little; and his close friends, Kenny Pigg, Ricky Bibbs, Brett Woods, Cole Barker, Steve Ware, Terry, Rob, Roberts, Joie Cave and Dee Craycraft. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 1:00 p. m. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
