She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scott and Evelyn Stone Scott; and her husband Albert J. Panyi. She is survived by: her children, Stephen J. Panyi and Susan L. Korch (Panyi); and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Amber, Brenna and Arienna.

Charitable donations can be sent to local animal shelters/organizations in her memory.
