We bid farewell to Letizia Tootsie Orsini of Steubenville, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Letizia Tootsie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Letizia Tootsie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Letizia Tootsie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Casholi and Philomena Casholi (Confolone); her husband Libert Anthony Orsini; her son-in-law Dominic Micucci; and her sisters, Edith P. "Italia" Lesnansky, Josephine Pekich, Elizabeth Leonhart and Lucy Ballato.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Micucci of Follansbee, WV; and her grandchildren, Marc Micucci (Deana) of Canonsburg, PA and Giada. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (1017 Jefferson St, Follansbee, WV 26037). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
