She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Davy and Elma Davy (Pittman); her spouse Durlan R. Kandel; and her stepgrandson Seth Meechan. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Egler (David) of Port Washington and David Kandel (Bonnie) of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Alyssia Perrotta (Robert), Kayleigh Robson (Jessie) and T. J. Meechan; and her sister Linda Moss. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home- Dover (803 N Wooster Ave, Dover, OH 44622). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dover Alliance Church (228 E 3rd St, Dover, OH 44622).
