It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin Delano Stroup of Stoutsville, Ohio, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stroup and Hazel Stroup (Forsythe); his wife Laura Stroup (Shull); his son Larry Stroup; and his siblings, Brian Stroup, Edward Stroup, Raymond Stroup, Mabel Watts, Betty Wilkes, Naomi Donaldson, Edith Daniels, Juanita Hughes, Janet Buskirk and Mary Stroup.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Stroup (Julia) of Fayetteville, TX and Charles Stroup (Lora) of Stoutsville; his grandchildren, Philip Stroup of Amanda, James Stroup of Springfield, David Stroup (Jessica) of Lancaster and Shannon Mager (Zachary) of Cincinnati; his great grandchildren, Brayden Stroup of Lancaster and Jamison Mager of Cincinnati; and his sister Alice Jo Stroup of Lancaster.
