He is survived by: his children, Linda Darby (Jeff Salzman), Caxixi Holsworth (Richard), Beverly Murtagh (Jim), Vicki McSherry and Jeffrey Sawastuk; his grandchildren, Meryl, Aaron, Lee Murtagh, Kaitlin, Severin Holsworth, James and Samuel McSherry; his great grandchild Rosie Murtagh; and his siblings, Wasil Sawastuk, Margaret Nelson and Helen Prochaska.
