He is survived by: his wife Laraine (Maimone); his children, Cynthia Simmons and Michael Simmons (Carrie); his grandchildren, Brenden and Trent Simmons; and his siblings, Mae Wylie (Thomas), Robert Simmons (Opal), Ralph Simmons (Judy) and Willie Simmons (Sandy).
