He was predeceased by : his parents, Panagiotis Gasparatos and Vasiliki Gasparatos (Makris); his nephew Michael Acton; his niece Vassia Gasparatos; his brother-in-law Paul Acton; and his cousin Angelos Papastefanou.

He is survived by : his son James (Daniel Pendergast); his brother Dimitri; his sister-in-law Barbara Acton; his niece Jennifer Elliott (Chad); his nephew Panos Gasparatos; and his cousins, Mariana Armstrong (Gary), Stephen Armstrong (Kim) and Alex Armstrong (Vagelitsa).
