He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Pavka and Rose Pavka; his brother John Pavka; and his sister-in-law Ann Pavka. He is survived by: his wife Bridget Pavka (Baylon); his children, Paul and Lauren Pavka; his siblings, Andrew Pavka, James Pavka (Rita), Sandra McPike (Roland) and Rosemary Lestock (Ron); and his pet Penny. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his lifelong friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MPN Research Foundation or St Joseph Church, in Strongsville.
