He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Strycott and Flora Lupse Strycott; and his siblings, John Strycott, Nicholas Strycott, Peter Strycott, Mary Axente and Florence Stefan.

He is survived by: his spouse Janet H. Smeltzer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
