He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Croft and Elva Croft (Knerr); and his siblings, Rufina, Myrtle, Edna, Irene and Elmer.

He is survived by : his wife Esther Croft (Smith); his daughter Nancy Harrison (late James); his granddaughter Melissa Harrison (Michael James); and his nieces, Marilyn and Lucy Croft.
