With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Ann Abernathy of Sullivan, Ohio, who passed away on June 30, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Cassese and Helen Cassese (Vogt) of Cleveland, Ohio.; her significant other Larry Joe Abernathy; her brother Robert Cassese; her pets, Patches, Susie, Izzy and PePe; her grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler and Dillon; and her great grandchildren, Braylan and Daniela.

She is survived by : her children, John Abernathy of Sullivan, Donna Kitchen (Dennis) of Ashland, Rebecca Gardner (David) of Murfreesboro, TN, Tina Kenny (John) of Sullivan and Larry Abernathy Jr. of Sullivan; her pet Teddy; and her siblings, Mary Pipcak (John), John Cassese (Patty) and Jim Cassese (Carol). She is also survived by twenty two grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
