He was predeceased by: his brothers, George Kohlhofer, Dave Kohlhofer, Jim Kohlhofer and Roy Kohlhofer; and his sister-in-law Theresa Kohlhofer.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Frank G., Jr. Kohlhofer (Leah), Steven U. Kohlhofer (Kimberly), Grace Kohlhofer, Brittany Bunker, Brandee, Joshua, Linda and Sarah Kohlhofer; and his siblings, Karen Kohlhofer, Kenneth Kohlhofer (Cindy) and Michael Kohlhofer (Lisa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
