He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Seawater and Isabel Seawater (Tressler); his daughter Arlene Margaret Caddarette; his sister Arlene Rose Hunt; his grandchildren, Michael Burnett II and Brandy Carroll; and his great grandchild Oliver Rhett Osborne.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Seawater; his children, Brenda Ostrander (Dan), John Seawater (Michelle), Vickie Sigman (Terry), Richard Carroll (Jennifer), Donna Veith (Carl), Jerry Carroll, Steven Carroll (Sandy) and Michael Carroll (Lisa); and his siblings, Claudia Stasko, James Seawater and Max Bornson. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
