He is survived by: his parents, Robert Bumbaugh and Helen Bumbaugh; his wife Catherine; his son Stephen (Brianna); his granddaughter Audrey Violet Bumbaugh; and his sisters, Janie Owen, Susan Fortney, Sally Wasielewski Blanton and Margaret Ciesinski.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
