It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Avery (Swanton, Ohio), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on August 13, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Avery and Gertrude Avery; and his son Larry Avery, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Angie Schmitz (Steve), Bob Avery (Jamie) and Bill Avery (Emily); his grandchildren, Devin Schmitz, Brooke Avery, Robyn Avery, Julianna Avery, Maria Avery, Elizabeth Avery and Liliana Avery; his siblings, Dianne Sradeja (Bob), Sandy Bauder (Mike), Doug Avery (Josette), Mike Avery (Pam), Nancy Wagner (Jeff) and Kym Callis; and his friend Jennifer Avery. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
