It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhoda Lavon Ray (Swanton, Ohio), born in Springfield, Ohio, who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Chiles and Sylvia Chiles; and her husbands, Jack Knotts Sr. and Charles Ray. She is survived by: her children, Jack Knotts (Linda), Howard Miller (Esther), Howard Ray (Karen), Carolyn Schlindwein, Sherry Maupin, Debra Cluckey, Sylvia Branum (Rex), Margie Kelly (John), Kim Nixon (Bob) and Linda Miller; and her sister Ruth Parks. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
