He is survived by: his wife Roxie Dowling (Wallen); his children, Russell Dowling (Mary Kay Dinger) and Renee Dowling (Phillip Scofield); his grandchildren, Courtney Flanders (Robert), Ryan Dowling and Connor Dowling; his great grandchild Hayden Flanders; and his siblings, Wayne Dowling, W. Thomas Dowling and Marian Onweller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
