He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Lanier and Bertha Lanier (Tong); and his son Larry Lanier. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth; his children, Barry Lanier (Sue), Darrell Lanier (Mary) and Vicky Stahl (Steve); his grandchildren, Jeanette Dager (John), Ashley Robinson (Garrett), Matt Lanier (Emily), Casey Lanier, Jessica Lanier, Shannon Lanier, Katie Stahl and Jeremiah Stahl; and his great grandchildren, Maddison Dager, Abbigail Dager and Lillian Dager.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Toledo Area Humane Society in Vic's memory.
