He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter James and Virginia Harriet Hallett (Leow); his granddaughter Kathryn Hallett; and his siblings, Anne Drummond, Amy Trausch, Barbara Dudek, Dori Skalski, Sherman Hallett and Mary Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Blodgett; his children, Walter J. Hallett III (Mary Kay), Stephen C. Hallett (Dawn), Julianne Marshall (William) and Monica Pataky (Ryan); his grandchildren, Erin, Kaylan, Lauren, Jenna, Billy and Walter J IV; his siblings, Frances Brushaber, Dennis Hallett and Mike Hallett (Sue); and his sister-in-law Theresa Hallett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Homes - Swanton (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558). A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Richard Catholic Church (333 Brookside Dr, Swanton, OH 43558). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
