He is survived by: his wife Billie Jo; his children, Deborah Ann Essman, Diana Lynn Blevins (Mike), Denise Gregory (Harold), Joseph Essman Jr. and Charles Essman (Amber); his sisters-in-law, Delores Essman of Sciotoville, OH and Laura Crisp; and his brother Larry Essman (Loretta) of Portsmouth, OH.. He is also survived by grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
