He was predeceased by : his father Billy Ray Sims; his children, Allen and Shelby; his granddaughter Madison; and his brother Kenny Sims.

He is survived by : his mother Ona Belle Sims (Maze); his siblings, Annabelle Currence (Paul), Becky Cavinee (Chuck), Ray Sims (Edna), Pat Sims (Trish) and Mike Sims (Staci); his sister-in-law Jill Sims; and his close friends, Laura and Jordan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the funeral home (P.O. Box 267, Thornville, Ohio 43076) to assist with final expenses.
