She was predeceased by : her parents, William George and Mildred L. Stiegler Pettit; her husband Charles W. Allen; her son Stephen W. Allen; and her brothers, Paul E. Pettit and Melvin N. Pettit.

She is survived by : her sons, Charles Neil Allen (Judy) of Buckeye Lake, Thomas Edward Allen (Lois) of Barboursville and Mark Eugene Allen of Michigan. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
