She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Galloway and Inez Galloway (Griffin); her siblings, James Galloway and Isabel Sidwell; and her son-in-law Chuck Shafer.

She is survived by: her husband Gordon A. Crader; her children, Roger "Lee" Crader (Melody), Mitzi Shafer and Christine Hoffer (Rich); her grandchildren, Charlie (Michelle), Jessica (Calvin), Brian (Mallory), Noah (Lindsey) and Nate; her great grandchildren, Autumn, Adi, Avery, Cash, Peri, Veda and Dia; and her caregiver Katie Bowshier. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the South Shore Ministries (8335 Township Hwy 391, Thornville, OH 43076).

Those who wish may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Perry County Library to continue her legacy of love for reading and learning.
