He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Allen Sr. and Mary Yvonne Focht (LaGrone); and his sister Marsha Paull. He is survived by : his children, Todd Focht (Britny) of Tiffin, Timothy Focht (Kate) of Tiffin and Bridget Simpson (Joshua) of Huntersville; his grandsons, Jaxon of Tiffin, Louis of Tiffin, Samuel of Tiffin, Sebastian of Tiffin, Alexander of Tiffin and Michael Focht of Tiffin; his siblings, Mary Jane Might of Sebring, Patty Belville (Chris) of Tiffin, Bill Focht (Anne) of Charlotte, Tom Focht of Charlotte and Jerry Focht (Donna) of Charlotte; his in-laws, Bill Might and Don Paull; and his nephew Tony "Spud" Speaker. He is also survived by in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews and Steve Nobil, a lifelong friend.

“Marsha, Bridget, Tim and Todd; Tish and I are saddened to hear of Rich's passing. We will always remember him for his friendliness, his moral convictions and his love for God and his family. We know you all will miss him greatly.
