He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Patko and Mary Patko (Kovacs); and his sister-in-law Margaret Patko. He is survived by: his wife Charmaine Patko (Nellis); his children, Michael Patko, Pamela Patko-Menser and Donald Patko (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jake, Brett, Sydney, Emily and Nicholas; and his brother Andrew Patko. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
