He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Johnson and Albertha Johnson (Roberta Johnson); his children, Tyrone Johnson, Denise Wright and Wanda Johnson-Williams; his granddaughter Kasey-Ann Johnson; his great grandchild NyAir Nix; and his siblings, Winston, Howard Johnson, Sonia Gillespie and Geraldine Jackson.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Johnson, Christine Shumpert (Renarda), Karen Johnson, Renae Murrell, Alfonso K. Johnson (Myrtle), Philip Johnson (Patricia) of Toledo Oh and Steven Johnson (LaShay) of Stockbridge, GA.; and his pet Queenie. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
