She was predeceased by: her parents, Petway Banks and Emma Banks; her husband Vann; her sister Helen Gibson; and her granddaughter Lorrie Patterson.
She is survived by: her daughter Vanita Dupuis; her grandson Scott Dupuis; and her great grandchildren, Candice Patterson, Steven LaCourse and Sierra LaCourse. She is also survived by 3 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
