Artie Gross Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Artie Gross of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on August 18, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison "Doc" and Artie Smith (MacDonald); her husband Eugene Gross; her children, Guy H. Gross, Senell Gross and Marshall J. Mayfield; her granddaughter Kenya J. Smith; and her siblings, William, Timothy, Renzy, L. A. Smith and Susie B. Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda J. Smith; her grandchildren, Akeya McQueen (Warren), Marlin Gross (Nicole), Ronae Garrison, Jala Gross and Brandi Broadnax; and her brothers, Leslie Smith of Little Rock, AK and Sylvester Smith of Holly Grove, AK. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granddaughters.
Interment will follow in Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. (Masks are required with social distancing).
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice in honor of Artie.
