She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Shaffer and Isabel Shaffer (Cardwell); her husband Richard L. Eggers; her daughter Jeanne Miller; and her sister Audrey Kussmaul.

She is survived by: her stepfather Clarence Valley. She is also survived by 7 children, had 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
