He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Heltzel and Pearl Heltzel (Ruff); his stepfather Calvin Heltzel Sr.; his wife Mary; his son Richard; and his siblings, Robert, John, Calvin, Pat and Joanne.

He is survived by: his daughter Mary Rahrig (Scott); his grandchildren, Richard Heltzel Jr. (Shannon), Shauna Henning (Chad), Matthew Rahrig (Joy) and Stephanie Gardner (David); and his great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Max Heltzel, Dusten, Bryce, Spencer Henning and Addison Rahrig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and 4 granddogs.

All those attending visitation and services are asked to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
