He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Zawisza and Emily Zawisza (Spain); his son Michael Zawisza; his grandson Jeffrey Aaron Burks; and his brothers, Valentine (Joan), Eugene (Irene) and Stanley Zawisza.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Sandra; his wife Mary Ann Zawisza; his children, Sandi Banasiak (Tom), Cyndi Burks (Jeff), Karin Tietjen (Ron Swiss) and Ron Zawisza; his daughter-in-law Karen Lindsey; his grandchild Meredith Banasiak (Chris Fellenz); his great grandchildren, Rem and Annika; his grandchild Alisyn Facemire (Brian); his great grandchild Daniel; his grandchildren, Ben Banasiak (Laureen) and Pam Logsdon (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Nick, Jake, Hannah and Riley; his granddaughter Jennifer Morgan; his great grandchild Kristen; his granddaughter Winnie Burks; his great grandchildren, Corbin and Hudson; his grandchildren, Greg Morgan (Nichole) and Amy Burks (Reggie); his great grandchildren, Corrine and Silas; his granddaughter Jessica Workman (Scott); his great grandchildren, Maizin, Maveric, Hali, Taylor Swygart (Luke), Zachary Tietjen (Gabby) and Tony Zawisza (Jen); and also, Mia, Shepard, Lilly, Michelle DeMuth (Tom), Madison, Isabel and Judi Zawisza.
