He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Ray Bailey; his stepfather Dave Bury; and his grandfathers, Kenneth Growden and Donald Bailey. He is survived by: his son Detroit Lions; his wife Brittany; his sons, Brandon Irvine, Troy Irvine, Daniel Bailey Jr. and Lehm Bailey; his mother Laurie Bailey (Growden); his grandmothers, Mildred Growden and June Rogers; his brothers, Derek Bailey (Justin) and Mike Bury (Keiko); and his mother-in-law Tina Nelson (Tim Kimdell).
