He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard T. Whitney and Johanna Whitney (Seliga). He is survived by: his children, Ruger, Remi, David Whitney II (Rachel) and Alex Whitney; his grandchildren, Mariah, Aria and Avery; his sister Liz Hafner (Bob); and his friends, Bob and Ella Bilger.
