With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dessie Eva Spann in Toledo, Ohio, born in Saint Joseph, Tennessee, who passed away on October 18, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Smith and Maudie Smith; her husband Hurshell L. Spann; her son Ronald L. Spann; her daughter-in-law Marilee Spann; and her siblings, Fulton Smith, Guy Smith, Felton Smith and JoAnn Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Spann and Robin Phillips of Brownsboro, Alabama; and her daughter-in-law Claudia Spann of Whitehouse, Ohio. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
