He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Mathias (Maus); his children, Mark Mathias (Denise) of Toledo, Jenny Ramsay (Sonny) of Newcomerstown and Mitchell Mathias of Columbus; his granddaughters, Erin Petrella (Jay) of Coopersburg, Rachel Donegan (Matt) of Nashville and Breanne Mathias of Denver; his great grandchild Aiden Petrella; his siblings, Vera Patton (Larry) of California, Janet Avon (Bill) of Strasburg and Glenn Mathias (Carol) of New Philadelphia; and his sister-in-law Jo Anne Byers (Howard) of New Philadelphia. He is also survived by his parents; his father-in-law.
