He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grover and Eleanor Franklin, Sr. (Sharp); his goddaughter Tanya; his friends, Red Beasely, Floyd Ambercromi, Sr., Fred Stanford, Jimmy Brown, Leon Bennett and Tyson; his daughter Janee Matthews; and his siblings, Sandra Holloway (Roy), Cynthia Franklin and Dean Franklin. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
