Emmett W. Pickens Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmett W. Pickens of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on July 14, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel L. Pickens and Mabel C. Pickens (Donahue); his son Kenneth Pickens; his grandchildren, Joshua Wilburn and Nova Star; and his siblings, Elmer, Wesley, Eber, Donald Pickens and Clara Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Gorney; his children, Rose Marie Williams (James), Barbara Naus, Tamara Parker, Dolores Zasada, James Pickens (Lisa), Kevin Pickens, Scott Pickens (Nareen) and Gerald Pickens; his daughters-in-law, Grace Pickens, Denise Pickens and Peggy Squire; and his brother Shelby Pickens (Ruby). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
