He was predeceased by: his former wife Peggy June Holcomb; and his sister Marilyn. He is survived by: his sons, Paul Grant Brinkley and David Fred Brinkley; and his sibling's children, Paul (Myrna), David (Diane), Jordan (Mary Ann), Lauren Hoover (JT), Victoria Taylor (Zack), Benjamin (Logan), Micah, Lucy Hoover, Stella Brinkley and Roger Brinkley. He is also survived by his two sons, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren as well as his brother.
