He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Jane Benedict (Fuzessy); and his daughter Chelsea. He is survived by: his father Lawrence J. Benedict; his daughter Brenna Benedict; his siblings, Christine Harris (Gary Kinney), Larry "Mugsy" Benedict and Kathleen Schmidt (Michael); his pet Lefty; and his friend Heather Mandzik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
