He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Virden and Virginia Virden (Wine); his daughter Crystal Gayle Virden; his great grandchild Lelind William Ireland; and his siblings, Ethel LaNeve, Julia Taubert, Edith Flanningan, Dorothy Warrick (Dolly), Marilla Jean Thompson, Myrle Martin, Curtis and Raymond Virden.
He is survived by: his former wife Deb Ireland; his daughter Emily Brown (Brian); his grandchild Kireona; his son Jeremiah Kleinhans (Jakki); his grandchild Juno; his great grandchild Aliliana; and his siblings, George Virden (Betty) of Norwood, NC, David Virden (Alice) of Glenmoor, OH, Virginia Cochran, Palestine and Carol Sue Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was hospitalized earlier in the week at St. Vincent's with COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the staff at St. Vincent's Hospital.
