He is survived by: his children, Patrick LaPlante (Lisa Cruz), Sean LaPlante (Becky Hussing) and Lisa Krasniewski (Tim); his grandchildren, Phillip, Robert, Megan LaPlante, Andy and Molly Krasniewski; his girlfriend Judith Bannister; his siblings, James LaPlante and Helen Yglesias; and his daughters-in-law, Kristie LaPlante and Beth Cherry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
