He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Jean-Higgins; his sons, Herbert Andrew Higgins, III (Cheryl) and Michael Jason Higgins; his grandsons, William and Sean Higgins; his parents-in-law, Michael, Joy Awls, Edward, Gail Awls and Rosayln Awls; his aunts, Jessie Awls, Joyce Neal of Toledo, Ellamae and Hammond of Dayton, Ohio; his godsons, Brandon and Loney Awls; and his daughters, LaHoma, LaRae Barnes, DeAnna K Brown-Patton and Shonna Brown. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
