He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Joshua and Galianna; his sister Lola Burke; and his niece Kathy-Ann Garber. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughter Rebecca Kaiser (Stanley); his grandsons, Michael Kaiser and Paul Kaiser (Tara); his great grandchild Wyatt; his sons, Hugo J. (Beth) and Andrew (Holly); his granddaughters, Seneca, Haley and Liberty; and also Episcopal Church.
