With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James W. Smalley of Toledo, Ohio, born in Sylvania, Ohio, who passed away on March 3, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arza Smalley and Mildred Smalley (Kindig); his children, Deborah Sturtz (Jim), Judy Gray (Dennis) and Mark Smalley; his grandchildren, Matthew Ortiz (Deanna), Jennifer Valbuena (Andres), Stephen Gray (Sharon), Valerie Gladieux (Alan), Matthew Smalley, Richard Smalley (Julie) and Heather Gray; and his wife Alice Smalley (Tatkowski). He was also cherished by 13 great-grandchildren.
