She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Torres and Isac Torres (Ramos); her husband Albert Cortez, Sr.; and her children, Albert Cortez, Jr., Ruth I. Bergman and Margaret Dunahoo.
She is survived by: her children, Alfred Cortez, Edward Cortez, Nicholas Cortez, Mercy Ann Cortez (Timothy) and Sandra Elliott (Jeffery). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral.
