He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Birmingham and Lillian Birmingham; his son Robert; his sister Esther; and his great grandchildren, Ellie and Amara.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Mauder; his children, John, Michael, Joey, Josh (Sarah), Jamey (Sandra), Trish Moore (Bob), Judi Wilson (Dan), Jeremy (Angie), Jackie Vasquez (Pedro) and Juli Gears; his siblings, Tom and Linda; and his father-in-law Ralph. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ohio Right to Life Society, 88 E. Broad St. #620 Columbus, OH 43215.
