He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie L. Toyer and Sadie Harris; his stepmother Trudie Mae Toyer; and his siblings, Isaac Toyer and Sheila Barnes.

He is survived by: his daughters, Carrie Neal (Isaac) and Starletta Jordan; his grandchildren, Gianna, Isaiah and Indyah Neal; and his siblings, Arthur, Leonard, Christopher (Tonya), Richard, Faye Brooks (Roy), Joyce, Patricia Stockard (John) and Regina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was a foundation to many often providing guidance and assistance to those in need.
