He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Mattoni and Anna Mattoni; his sisters, Angela and Kathy; his children, Michael and Michelle; his sister-in-law Carrie Mattoni; his brother Sam; and his cousin Junior Carl Mazzurco.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made out to The Toledo Humane Society.
